How often do you go out for a night out on the town with your girlfriends? For me, it’s way too infrequent. After full days of working and being a mom and wife, I usually have dozens of excuses as to why I can’t make it out. This spring has been different, though. I know that going out and socializing with friends needs to be a priority. A lady needs her girlfriends!

Slowly but surely, I’ve been coming out of my shell and hitting the streets with old and new friends. Instead of staying at home and being lazy, I’ve been taking small actions that make a big impact…yes, even on my social life! The first thing I’ve been doing is drinking way more water. You’d be surprised at how being dehydrated makes you tired! If you’re wondering why you’re so sluggish and never want to do anything, check your water intake.

The other thing I started doing is taking Culturelle Advanced Immune Defense. It’s a triple-action dietary supplement that works to protect my immune system. It might seem crazy that I feel like I need immune defense since I work from home, but that’s exactly why I wanted to give it a try! There aren’t a lot of germs coming in and out of home, but outside is a different story. I feel like a boost in my immune systems is a good idea if I’m going to be out and about around folks. Culturelle has 2.5 billion live active cultures of Lactobacillus GG, 500mg of EpiCor, 20mg of Vitamin C and 3mg of Zinc, so I feel confident knowing that I have extra protection.

Finally, as tempting as it might be to throw on yoga pants and meet friends a local coffee house, try getting dressed up and going someone nice for a change! Putting on a nice dress and hanging out with my local blogger girlfriends the other day was really the highlight of my week! Oh, and don’t let kids or your husband’s busy schedule deter you. Even if your girl’s night out has to happen during the daytime, you can still have a great time. I mean, anytime is a good time for mimosas and brunch, right?

Are you a work-at-home mom like me who needs to get out? Call up some of your girlfriends, start your 10-day Culturelle regime so you can make sure to stay well (get a $2 off of Culturelle coupon), and go have fun!

I didn’t even think about being more susceptible to germs when I go out and about since I work from home these days. That explains so much. Good for you getting out and having some much needed girl time!
