Have you ever been so overwhelmed with a situation that you just have to let it go and let God do with it what He will?  Well, that’s what I did a few weeks ago when I was stressing out about how I was going to be able to take care of Ayva after my surgery.  She’s in preschool part-time and she’s a super active 3 year old full-time…I had no idea how we were going to make it.

Out of the blue, however, came my father.  Recently sober and ready, really ready, to be here for my sister, Ayva and me.  Y’all…I don’t know how I would have managed the last few weeks without him.  From taking Ayva to school to cooking dinner, he has been doing it all.

The thing is, I know that we still have to take everything day by day.  So today, I am grateful.  Today, I am blessed, and I’m so thankful that God has given my dad, and our family, another chance.
