Covering grays is easy with Madison Reed’s Root Touch Up! This is a sponsored story.

My hair started going gray right after I had my daughter. When I saw the first strand, I thought that for sure it was a mistake. As I investigated closer, parting my hair and really getting into the thick of my afro, I was shocked that there were many, many gray strands hiding up in there!

Look, I’m not against gray hair. The problem with my gray hair is that it only shows up when I need to pull my hair back and go casual. As long as my hair is styled, the grays are covered. It’s those days when I want to wear a ponytail and yoga pants that they come out trying to make me look bad. I can’t have that, not even on my low maintenance days.

I was looking forward to trying out Madison Reed’s Root Touch Up which is basically like makeup for hair. I haven’t dyed my hair since my wedding and I’m still on the fence about whether or not I want to dye again. The Root Touch Up is a great way for me to cover my grays without a huge commitment. The product comes in seven different shades on Madison Reed’s site based on your individual preference. You can find four of those shades at Sephora, too! I used Dark Brown which blended with my hair perfectly. All I had to do was use a little brush that was included in a nifty compact and apply the powder to the gray area that I wanted to cover up. Super easy, no harsh chemicals, and it smells good, too!

Not everyone who has grays wants to completely get rid of them. Some of us are folks who care somedays and don’t care the others. Root Touch Up is the perfect solution for us. I was able to pull my hair back, cover grays and leave out of the house in less than 10 minutes. Also, since the powder rinses out when you wash your hair, if you decide you miss your gray strands, you can always get them back!

Sephora has just started to carry Madison Reed’s Root Touch Up, so you can check them out in the store! Also, if you’re not sure which shade to purchase, a Madison Reed Color Crew Specialist can help! Head over to Madison Reed to check out the Root Touch Up using my link and get a complimentary brow brush at check out! How do you cover your grays?
