This Monday, Ayva, Terrence, my soon to be Mother In Law, and I went to the San Francisco Zoo. We were invited as guests of Red Rover, a new app that will help parents in the Bay Area find things to do with their children. They were sponsors of Hullabazoo, an event that made our trip to the zoo quite unique! I’ll share more about Red Rover soon, but I wanted to share some unexpected photos from our visit to the San Francisco Zoo.
Check out these really cool puppets from Giant Puppets Save the World!
Here’s another Giant Puppets Save the World puppet. This one is Compost!
The zoo had the most beautiful flowers all over!
Ayva got her face painted. She asked to be Minnie Mouse.
This was Ayva’s first climbing wall. I was so proud of her!
What have YOU seen that was unexpected lately?

That is fantastic, Janeane Davis! Especially at her age, I think it is wonderful that she loves and respects her Mama. It takes some teens until they're almost 30 to see how amazing their parents are!

My 3 year old noticed a bump on my face (it was just a pimple). But he ran to my husband demanding an ice pack for my face because he was convinced I was hurt. That was so sweet. He's a very emotional child.

That is very sweet and thoughtful of him! I love how children notice when things are different, too!
