{Saturday Sights} Treasure Island, California

Today was such a lovely day in the Bay Area, and I was fortunate to be invited out to a group outing to celebrate my friend Ann’s birthday. She wanted to take us all to a flea market on Treasure Island a few miles outsides of San Francisco to peruse the goods, and partake in the delicious food truck fare. The weather was gorgeous, the company was great, and the food was everything I hoped it would be! Here are my sights from the day. Unfortunately I ate my garlic noodles before taking any pictures (I know a “real” photographer would never do that!), but there’s still a lot of fun things to see on my first Treasure Island adventure!
The view of San Francisco from Treasure Island.
The famous food trucks! There was so much to choose from!
Can’t believe I remembered to get a pic of this organic chocolate chip ice cream sandwich before digging in!
So many great discoveries including this old radio.
Lots to see at the flea market.
Lovely found objects rings.
It wouldn’t be a flea market without some old vinyl!
Doesn’t this just make you want to throw back a cold one?
A beautiful collection of glasses.
There was no shortage of jewelry at the flea market.
These red cowboy boots were calling me. The price wasn’t right, though.
Great selection of baseball mitts.
Have you ever been to a flea market? What was your best find?

I’m visiting the Flea Market on March 30th with some great friends from my Meetup group and sent them a link to your Blog…enticing them with some of your great pics! I saw a cool tutorial on someone else’s blog, an idea to paint a pretty bottle and affix some bling in the form of an old pin…your picture has me excited to scour the bin to see what I can find. Thanks so much!
