Preschool Style: Pink and Lace

As Ayva gets older, she’s becoming very specific about her style. The more feminine, the better. If it’s pink, that’s like icing on an already super sweet, super girly cake. I don’t mind, really. I mean, I used to try to get her to expand her taste. The reality is, she’s growing up, and being able to choose clothes that she likes just plants the seed for making other choices for herself. So, pink and girly it is!

My Mother-In-Law really gets Ayva, and loves shopping with and for her. She has purchased Ayva’s Easter outfits for the past two years, and Ayva has been completely in love with them both times. This year, Ayva was in pink and lace. It doesn’t get much more girly than that! I love lace, but it can be easy to look too “grown” if not done right. Ayva’s Easter dress, with its soft pink lining and A-line shape was absolutely preschool worthy when paired with sequined ballet shoes topped with a pom pom. This dress was made extra special by a built in bow charm necklace.

SO cute! I love the skater dress, and I’m so tempted to make myself one. I love little girls and their opinions on their clothes. It honestly makes getting dressed so much easier!
