I can’t believe it’s been a year since I ditched my mom jeans for a couple of fresh pairs at Old Navy. Since then, a lot has happened. I actually threw out (not just stored away) my raggedy, unflattering jeans, and, sadly, I’ve outgrown the jeans that I bought. Right now, I’m down to one pair of fancy jeans that are not really suitable for everyday wear. Well, Old Navy has come to the rescue again to make sure I enter into the fall looking fashionable thanks to their Rockstar Jeans.
If you’re like me, a card carrying maternity yoga pants wearing comfort is key gal, the Rockstar jeans are going to be perfect to add some uumph to your autumn wardrobe. Don’t let the Rockstar moniker fool you, the fit of the jeans really are comfortable, and even if you’re not into the bright colors that they have available, there are still tons of neutrals to choose from. These jeans really are for everybody. And every body. Take a look at Old Navy’s The Fit for Fall Fashion Show for All that they held during New York’s Fashion Week to see what I mean.

Since I’ve got a conference coming up, and I’ve moved to California and now live with one of the most fashion-conscience men alive, I figured that there’s no better time than now to add some of these fab jeans to my collection other pair of jeans. Old Navy is having a sale on the Rockstar jeans right now, so my timing was spot on. My (three year old)stylist and I went to Old Navy earlier today so that I could try them on and see how they fit. I knew I wanted to get a regular pair of the denim jeans, and, in my effort to be spontaneous, decided to let Ayva pick out a colored pair for me. She picked plum. Of
course.

The jeans were great, and even though I went up…a couple more sizes than I thought, the fit is still really flattering. The label on the pair that I purchased said Super Skinny, and while that scared me a bit, I’m glad I tried them on. They are, indeed, slim though the thigh to the ankle, but they stretch when you put them on. I didn’t have to struggle to button them even with the super skinny fit. These jeans really are Rockstar jeans!
Looking more Rockstar than Mama in these jeans, huh? |
I need your help, though. How can I style the plum jeans? I’m sure that I’ll wear them with a cream sweater and a colorful scarf, but I’d love some ideas on how to be more bold with them. Or, are purple jeans bold enough on their own? Please leave a comment and let me know!
