This summer is going to be epic! Between my upcoming wedding, and spending my first summer in Cali with my little girl and my man, it’s going to be awesome! We have so much planned. We’re going to ride up the coast and hang out at the beach. Ayva hasn’t been to see the redwoods, yet, so we’ll absolutely get out there. Bowling, hiking, movies…and did I mention the wedding? This summer is going to be packed, but I’m going to love every minute of it. The one thing that I don’t love? Spending a lot of money! I’ve already started saving by cooking at home most nights instead of eating out, and I just learned of a new way to save on fuel with the Fuel Rewards Network.
The Fuel Rewards Network is a loyalty program that allows you to earn savings on fuel when you purchase groceries. In order to be eligible for the rewards, you just have to go to the Fuel Rewards website, and sign up. It’s really that easy. What’s even better, though, is if you link your MasterCard, you can earn an additional 3¢/gal for every $100 you spend on groceries! It doesn’t even have to be a MasterCard credit card. I was able to link up my business debit, and still be eligible for the rewards. I know, it seems too easy, right? Let me show you:
First you go to the Fuel Rewards website.
Then you enter your MasterCard credit or debit card information. Click “Link Card” and you’re done!
If you link your debit card, you just have to remember to use the credit option when you check out at the grocery store.
Ayva and I went shopping at Save Mart / Lucky this evening after I registered for the Fuel Rewards program. Instead of going to a restaurant, we decided to make fajitas at home. As soon as we pulled up, we saw signs for the Fuel Rewards program! Not only were the prices at the market really good, but it made me happy to know that we would be getting a savings at the gas station soon. All of the money that we’ll save on fuel will go right back into our family and our wedding. If we’re able to save $120 in the next 2 months, that’s enough for Ayva’s flower girl dress and shoes! We spend about $100 a week on groceries, so that’s totally a possibility. Alright. I’m ready. Bring on summer!
