Last year, I did something different for the new year. Instead of a whole list of resolutions, I chose one action, innovate, to focus on. Being aware of doing things differently than I had done them previously, and looking for ways to step out of the box served me quite well in 2012. New opportunities in both my personal and professional life came because I was intentional about innovating and creating something out of the ordinary.
This year, I’m going to be focusing on cultivating. To cultivate means to “foster the growth of”. Sowing into the lives of others, nurturing my family and myself, and preparing everyone around me for greatness…all of those are the actions that I’ll be focusing on for 2013. I anticipate it being a lot of work, and I’m prepared for it. Bountiful work for bountiful blessings, right?
2013…let’s go!
