How Do You Handle Sticky Situations?

When your preschooler’s standard answer to the question, “What do you like to do?” is, “I like to splash in muddy puddles!”, you might find yourself in a sticky situation or two! Instead of ruining all of her fun, I have learned to be prepared for my daughter’s messy merriment. One of our stickiest situations comes after she’s been splashing in muddy puddles, and then has to get in the car. Now, what we do on rainy days is place a plastic bag on the floor of the car, and take her rain boots off as soon as she gets in. I keep an extra pair of shoes in the car, and she puts those on while her dirty boots stay on the floor (instead of the back of my car seat!) Sticky situations have nothing on a thinkin’ mama!

How do you deal with sticky situations with your little one? Wet Ones wants to know! They’ve launched a Facebook contest where sharing your tip can win you an iPad Mini, or tickets to Six Flags! Here is the link to enter by December 28th: Good luck!

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Wet Ones. I received a promotional item to thank me for participating.
