I’m a bing thinker. I have thoughts that bing, bing, bing, back and forth through my mind all day like a pinball machine. Whether or not those thoughts actually help me to be productive just depend on where I am. If I think of something that I need to do when I’m at my desk and can get to it right away, great! If I’m on the bus commuting to work when I get a thought, not great. The chances of me remembering what it is that it was that I was going to do when I get to work is slim to none. At least until the next time I’m not in a position to take action!
That’s why I was intrigued about the new HP ePrint. You can email things to your printer directly from your smartphone. To be honest, my first reaction wasn’t intrigue, though. It was, “Why in the world would I need to email something from my phone to my printer?” I was thinking about how complicated it is to email pictures from my phone to myself now. I have to send the email, then upload the picture to another program to open it. It’s just too much. The HP ePrint isn’t like that, though. It really is super simple.
All I did was set the printer up like normal, but then I went to the HP eCenter, registered my printer, and set up a unique email for the printer. Now, anytime I want to print something off, whether it’s pictures from my phone, emails, a map, whatever, all I have to do is email it and it will be waiting for me at home! Cool, right?
Check out how it works in the video, and if you like it, you can pick one up for $69 at Walmart.
Alright, gotta go print the pictures of Ayva from the day she was born that are on my phone. Or maybe the map to the event that I’m going to in the morning. Or maybe a recipe from Pinterest. What’d I tell you? Bing, bing, bing!
