When it comes to adulting, I’ll take all the help I can get

I am in partnership with HealthPlan USA and they have provided me with compensation for this campaign. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.

Usually when we talk about being a grown up, we use the word adulting in disdain.

Not being grown is having the ability to be fancy and carefree. You have no responsibilities. You wake up when you want to, there are no bills to pay or job to go to. It’s living the good life.

Adulting is difficult. It’s making appointments, going to work every day, and doing adult stuff like balancing your checkbook and signing up for health insurance. Obviously not nearly as fun as being a kid, but at some point we have to grow up, act our age, and handle our business.

Fortunately, we live in a time where there are so many products and services that help us to be better adults. We don’t have to go to the banks like our parents because now we can deposit checks from our phone. Instead of going to the post office or the water department to pay our bill, it comes out of our check automatically. Adulting has gone soft, and I am here for it!

When I think about ease of use, HealthPlan USA is one of those services that comes to mind immediately. As fully grown humans, we all know the risks we run when we aren’t covered. We also know that health insurance can be difficult to get and cost prohibitive. But, we have to have it. From preventative care to managing illness or injury, having to pay out of pocket for care could end up being devastating for many families.

Even after we’re covered, though, there are prescription costs and other expenditures that we still have to come up with. At that point, many of us could use a little help.

With HealthPlan USA, you have help. Although it is not health insurance, it is a membership that gives you discounts on health related services including prescription drugs, dental, vision and tele-health access. Affordable and easy to access, HealthPlan USA is an option for families who understand the importance of taking care of their health needs, but are looking to save.

Here’s a little more about the features of the HealthPlan USA membership program:

  • Affordable $16.48/month membership fee
  • Unlimited access to board certified doctors and therapists
  • Aetna dental discount
  • Vision plan discount (20-60% off prescription eyewear and exams)
  • Rx pharmacy discounts (10-85% savings on prescription drugs)
  • Health advocate solutions
  • Personal health advocate to help you navigate through insurance and healthcare system

Since we can’t delay growing up, we might as well get us much help as we can. I’m looking forward to talking to a therapist thanks to my HealthPlan USA membership. Finding one through my insurance program was hard, but it’s been a breeze with HealthPlan USA. I’ll share more about my experience soon, but for now, sign up for aHealthPlan USA membership and start adulting on another level.
