King Julien on Netflix

New Year’s Eve is finally here! I’m not sure what I’m going to do. Maybe I’ll go out to a club or host a fancy party. Ah, who am I kidding? I’m the mother of a 5-year-old. I’ll probably be in bed before midnight. My peeps over at Netflix understand what it’s like, so they’ve asked their buddy King Julien to help us out. Your kiddos don’t have to miss out on all of the pomp and circumstance of a ball drop just because you want to get to bed early. Just share King Julien’s kid-sized countdown special and celebrate the new year anytime you want!

You know what’s even better than not having to stay up until midnight? How about a free YEAR of Netflix? You guys totally rock my world, and I’ve had a lot of fun sharing stories with you all on the blog in 2014. As a thank you, one lucky Mama Knows It All reader will win a free year of Netflix streaming subscription service. Just leave a comment and let me know how you like to ring in the new year (make sure to fill out the Rafflecopter form, too!). I’ll use random.org to select one winner on January 5th at 5 PM PST. Happy New Year, All!

We usually make NYE a game night. It’s getting more enjoyable as the kids get older. Not so much Candy Land 🙂

We rang in the New Year by watching a movie on Netflix and then, at midnight, watching the ball drop.
