gifts for people who don't want anything

What are some good gifts for people who don’t want anything?

My love language is words of affirmation, not gifts.

That doesn’t mean that I don’t appreciate gifts when folks give them to me.

I just usually don’t know what to ask for.

I have a sweet family, a great job, my health is steady—what more do I need?

But I’m blessed to have folks in my life who love to spoil me, and I’ve learned to receive that!

That still leaves me with one issue. What can I tell people who ask for suggestions about what to get me?

When someone says they don’t want any gifts

One thing that I want to clarify before I share this list is that, if someone has made it really clear to you that they don’t want anything, don’t get them anything.

And on the other hand, if you’re the gift recipient, it is okay for you to make that clear.

I know my family loves to give, and it makes me happy to see them happy because I’m happy. Ha!

But, folks are allowed to have “no gifts and I mean it” be a boundary.

Respect that.

Okay, so now that we got that cleared up, let’s move on to the actual gifts.

Folks who don’t want anything are typically not into things that are just clutter. No knick knacks or gag gifts.

You’ll do good to look for presents that are sustainable, useful, and meaningful.

If you’re looking for gifts for tweens, I have you covered in another post.

Here’s a great list for the older folks in your life!

Gifts for People Who Don't Want Anything

Have someone in your life who says they don't want any gifts for their birthday, Christmas, or other special occasions? I'm usually that person. Since I know my family loves to give, though, I've curated a list of gifts that are perfect for folks who don't want anything.

Tile

This device helps you keep track of your wallet, phone, keys, whatever! It's perfectly useful for someone who says they don't want or need anything.

Maiko Fanny Pack

This fanny pack is cute and functional! Maiko has a lot of great bags that I would definitely buy for myself, but I probably wouldn't buy this fanny pack even though I love it and would definitely wear it all the time.

Succulent Membership

Plants are so in, and succulents are easy to care for. This affordable membership is a gift that keeps on giving for 3 or more months!

Audible Membership

I LOVE listening to audiobooks and subscribe to Audible. This is a gift that allows the recipient to choose the books they want to listen to without having to pay for them!

Meal Delivery Kit

Give the best gift ever by sending a meal delivery kit to your person who doesn't know what they want. What's cool about this is that they can choose what they want delivered.

Massage Gun

This massage gun is everything, y'all! I have it and love to get my kids to massage my legs while we're watching tv. Another gift that keeps on giving!

Travel

Plan out a road trip or an overseas adventure. Just make sure the recipient doesn't have to lift a finger with the planning---unless they want to.

Books

You can't go wrong with books. If you know what you're recipient is into, get them the most recent release from their favorite author or about a topic that they're interested in.
