Even though it was eight years ago, I still vividly remember the first time my daughter smiled at me. It was definitely one of the best moments of my life! Over the years, I’ve had lots more of those incredible moments with her, and now I’m thankful to go through it all over again with my son. Having a baby and being able to watch them experience every day activities for their first time makes everything feel more special. Remember how adorable your little one was when you burped them? Or how cute they look when they cry? Yeah, babies are pretty amazing.

My favorite first moment with both of my children? It had to be giving each of them their first bath.

There were a lot of similarities between my son and daughter’s bath. Both of them had their inaugural bath in the kitchen sink. Neither one of them cried, but rather looked at me with a perplexed (and incredibly darling) look on their faces. I was nervous both times because slippery babies can do that to you, but all turned out well. Head over to the HEALTHY ESSENTIALS®  for more from me on making your baby’s first bath a great experience, including my favorite products to use for bath time like JOHNSON’S® HEAD-TO-TOE® Extra Moisturizing Baby Wash.
