Can I be honest with y’all about dinner?
By the time I finish up a full day of work, get Ayva home from school, and do a few freelancer tasks, Mama is tired!
As important as it is for me to get a healthy meal on the table for my family, sometimes I just don’t feel like it. Instead of heading to a drive-through and getting burgers and fries or something equally unhealthy, I have a whole hosts of quick, good for you dinner recipes to choose from.
Sometimes, though, I don’t even have the energy to make a 30 minute meal.
It’s times like those when I head to Boston Market for help.
Did you know that Boston Market offers 150 home style meals with 550 calories or less? I had no idea! Of course you knew about the juicy rotisserie chicken (hello, dinner shortcut), but did you know that the meals come with an entrée and at least two sides?
Boston Market has the mac & cheese that Ayva loves, mashed potatoes that Terrence likes, and string beans for me. I add a few pieces of cornbread and we’re good to go. I even order ahead of time online so I don’t have to wait when I go pick it up. It’s seriously the easiest way to do dinner ever.
Don’t believe me? Take a look at Boston Market’s “150 Ways to Eat Right” list, which features all of their meals under 550 calories.
There’s something on the list that every single person in your family will enjoy.
In fact, just last night I had my mother-in-law and brother over to join us for dinner. Everyone left with a full belly and satisfied!
It was the perfect way to celebrate National Nutrition Month and spend quality time with my favorite people.
