Even as a young girl, I knew there was something that I had to contribute to the world that no company, organization, or boss would be able to manage.
I’ve started different projects over the years that have had varying results. I finally feel like I’m in a place where I know where I’m headed.
I’m grateful for the support of mentors and friends who have provided insight to me.
Books Inspire Me
I also love to read and be inspired by the wise words of authors who have been there and done that. I was always searching for books that help you explore your passion.
At one point, I had stopped reading these types of books. I felt like the more books I read on self-help and entrepreneurship, the more time I was taking away from actually DOING the things that I was passionate about.
One of my friends reminded me, though, that reading these books was like watering your lawn.
In order to keep the grass green, or the motivation going, you have to be nurtured.
That what books that help explore your passion do.
They nurture you.

This year, I’m ready to dive back into reading and sowing into my passion with exuberance.
Here are some of the books that are on my bookshelf and/or my Kindle!
These are the books you need to read!

The Crossroads of Should and Must guides us from the small moment, discovering our Must, to the big moment—actually doing something about it. And returning to share our new gifts with the world.
By the end of You Are a Badass, you will understand why you are how you are, how to love what you can't change, how to change what you don't love, and how to start living the kind of life you used to be jealous of.
Whether we are looking to write a book, make art, find new ways to address challenges in our work, embark on a dream long deferred, or simply infuse our everyday lives with more mindfulness and passion, Big Magic cracks open a world of wonder and joy.
Every day we experience the uncertainty, risks, and emotional exposure that define what it means to be vulnerable or to dare greatly. Based on twelve years of pioneering research, Dr. Brené Brown dispels the cultural myth that vulnerability is weakness and argues that it is, in truth, our most accurate measure of courage.
