This #BigHoliday post is sponsored by Big Lots in celebration of National Decorate Your Home for the Holidays Week.

Mama Knows It All - 2

First of all, let me just say, we have glitter EVERYWHERE in our house! It’s on the couch, on the table, on our clothes. Ayva and I love it. Well, all of the sparkle and glitter has paid off as we have our decorations up well before the holidays and just in time for National Decorate Your Home For The Holidays Week. We have also earned the prestigious title of The Most Classic Jolly Holly in the Big Lots #BIGHoliday contest for our traditional red and gold decorations! Everyone knows that the holidays need a little shimmer, so we made sure to incorporate it all throughout our room.

jolly hollyNow, as I said when we first started the challenge, I’m not the most creative decorator. Fortunately, Terrence and Ayva have super ideas, and  great eye for color and cheer. Spending time together shopping for decorations at Big Lots, and then putting them all together made for some really special and quality family time.  As we get further into the season,  I’m really looking forward to snuggling on the couch in our holly jolly home, watching Christmas movies and drinking hot cocoa!

This week, November 16th – 22nd is National Decorate Your Home For The Holidays Week. Get your decorations up now and relieve some of the stress of waiting until the last minute! Of course, Big Lots has a lot of decorations for any style that you want. We only spent $250 and were able to completely Christmastize (totally just made that word up!) our small living room!

You all did a great job! I love the classic look! The owl is too cute! Our color scheme is very similar in our family room so you’ve given me some great ideas to kick off our holiday decorating. I absolutely love this time of year!
