We’ve all been there. You’re out and about with your baby, handling business, and it happens. You hear the sound of a mini explosion and instantly know that your day is about to take a turn. That’s right, the diaper blowout. I had been pretty fortunate with my son. We would go out to run an errand, and he’d wait to poop until we got home. It was like clockwork, and I was confident that my child and I had an understanding.

I got cocky.

I stopped checking my diaper bag to make sure it was stocked up. In fact, there were several times that I actually left the diaper bag at home. That’s where the bag was a few weeks ago when he had that big blowout. Don’t ask me what I was thinking. Who goes out with an infant and no diapers? Not me. Well, not anymore. I learned my lesson and I don’t ever want to be stuck out in public with a stinky (but cute) baby and no way to clean him up again!

After a couple of months of trial and error, I have learned to pack the perfect diaper bag. It’s filled with all of the essentials and nothing you won’t need. It’s exactly what you need when you’re going out with baby. Head over to HEALTHY ESSENTIALS® for my full checklist on what to pack in your diaper bag.

Disclosure – I’m proud to have a partnership with HEALTHY ESSENTIALS®. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
