Back when Ayva was a baby, I used to go crazy over clothes with adorable animals on them for her. Something about my squishy little girl wearing a onesie or tee-shirt with a big-eyed doggy or kitty on it just melted my heart. Oh, and those pants with a bear or a duck right on their tush? Ayva is a big girl now and way too mature for all of that, but I still look for any opportunity to put an animal on her. Gymboree has clothes for babies and big kids, and I just about lost it when I found discovered a lot of different animal inspired fashion items including this  Owl Soft Dress that I knew she would love.

Since Ayva is tall, I figured the dress would fit more like a tunic and I was right. It looks great with jeans, black skinny pants, or bright colored tights. The owl itself has incredible detail that I wasn’t expecting, and the back had a sweet little bow at the neck. I was really surprised at how well made the dress was considering the price I paid for it. The dress was 50% off, so I only paid $14.00 for it. Most importantly, the Owl Soft Dress has a pocket!
