Over the past few months, things have been pretty hectic over here. I’ve been growing a business, working weird hours at my job, and dealing with some health issues. Through it all, Ayva has been so patient and helpful and kind. I’m dedicating the month of October to her, and really to all daughters.
Having a daughter is probably the biggest blessing in my life. She’s more than just my child, she’s a mirror. When I look at her, I see myself and I’m inspired to be good because of her.
I’ll be sharing lots of pictures, tips, and activities to encourage the celebration of our daughters this month. I really believe that intentional appreciation builds strong self-esteem, and isn’t that our goal? To get started, check out a few of my favorite posts about raising a daughter.

I wish I had a daughter to celebrate with you, but instead I'll just celebrate BEING a daughter and celebrate myself and my family. Does that work? ;-)
