It's hard to believe that Shot@Life, the UN Foundation program that supports immunization efforts for children all over the world is only ¬†one year old. Over the past year, their impact has been incredible. Through the work of the Shot@Life staff and Champions, Americans have been educated on ways to raise awareness and funds so that all children will have a shot at adulthood thanks to life-saving vaccines. It's interesting how something random can bring up an old memory. This week, while in Washington, D.C. for the Shot@Life Champion Summit, I was reminded of a moment that happened with me when Ayva was a little baby.
